Waiting for results

How do you all cope with waiting for results? I’ve been waiting for my first ct scans after my op and diagnosis ,it’s been 14 weeks!!! I’ve rang and emailed Basingstoke but they just say it’s a shortage of specialist radiologists and a big back log ! This is doing nothing for my mental health! People keep saying “no news is good news” but I know for a fact that isn’t the case this time !!! Just ranting to you guys as you will understand no doubt how frustrating this is!!! Other than keep bugging them there’s not a lot else I can do 😩

It might be worth explaining your concerns to your GP to see whether he can do anything. Interestingly all my scans are done locally so I get a quick turnaround. The results are then sent to Basingstoke for them to see as well.
