What are people's thoughts on this newly proposed system?

If you had low risk or intermediate risk, would you join the clinical trial?

For low and intermediate risk patients there are very good proven options. My question is if this treatment fails, does that preclude you from having other proven treatments?

So far, thermal ablation (HIFU, cryo, or laser) hasn't gotten rid of the cancer in the prostate. Will steam blasting it work any better? That's why God invented clinical trials. ZI wish their clinical trial had a control group treated with SBRT.

See what the trial discovers . The article is written by the chief medical officer of the company that makes the device/system.

I am intermediate unfavorable and would not join the trial.

I'm far past my college chemistry and physics, but though the claim is that the steam can be delivered very precisely to the tumor with minimal damage to surrounding tissues, this is a claim made by the other ablative methods. I don't see why this should be materially better. And no, I would not have volunteered for this trial.
