Not the best news. Not the worst news I suppose. Will have Space Or and markers set on 9/19. So it begins…….

Decipher Score .58
0.58 doesn’t seem too bad to me! My husband’s was 0.94. He’s doing very well right now — had surgery 5/2022, finished radiation 11/1/22, is taking Orgovyx/pred/abiraterone. Current PSA and T levels are undetectable. Had a PSMA PET scan this week — no evidence of metastasis. We’re in “cruise control” mode for now.
Good luck to you!
Markers same day? SpaceOar will leave you a little full feeling after the numbness wears off. It's quite a "piercing" experience, my ultrasound tech was fabulous and reps from SpaceOar were in the room. I think they waited a week for mine even though you are just laying there you have to be perfectly still. I was .56 with 6.7% chance of metastasis at 10 yrs with RP. I did MRI -linac 9 months ago, 7.6, 4.4, 3.6, 1.6 10 days ago. The doctors said intermediate is intermediate regardless of score. 70 yrs old now.
I had my markers placed at the same time the SpaceOAR was done. And yes, I looked up over the sheet to see who was in the room and there was quite an audience including a good looking young lady that was the rep for SpaceOAR. She gave me a nice smile as if to say, how does that ultrasound probe feel up your bum?
Did you ask her if she wanted to try it? (No charge, but you get to keep the pictures) .

I didn't realize that the treatment center I chose was a teaching center. I had a large audience every step of the way.
Did they give you round of applause at least......
