It's a _long_ way between "this drug has anti-cancer properties _in vitro_ " (test-tube experiments) to "this drug is an effective, safe treatment for prostate cancer in humans, that's as good as (or better than) standard treatments."
I'd wait until some clinical studies have been done, before taking something that's essential to vets, but not usually prescribed for humans by the established medical community.

It is true that ivermectin can be take by human animals. I have used it in Guatemala to treat microfilariasis that can cause River Blindness and to treat scabies. As has been pointed out, it is a long way from the test tube to the prostate gland.
Dozens and dozens of peer reviewed studies out there on Ivermectin and Covid, but this is first I heard of its use in cancer. It all starts in the lab, then on to more studies. It will be years before the slow pace of science has an answer re PC, especially since no $$$ if it works.
I never really looked for it so maybe that is the reason?
To quote Dr. Ripuoff...."I have come to the conclusion that the only thing that will definitely kill a patient's cancer cells is the patient's death.
p.s. You can take that to the bank.....
How appropriate today is Hump Day...
