Are you asking about T replacement to bring your T level up to normal? It doesn't treat PC, but normal levels may not harm you.

There is info. on the net that is saying T slows the recurrence of PC and increase of PSA. Anecdotal only. No long term study. Ref: Compassionate Oncology Medical Group, Century City, CA

Yes, Liebowitz- I am VERY skeptical. He published some fairless useless data in 2009 and nothing since. If there were anything useful there, I'm sure he would publish.

Would that be the upper range of (264-916 ng/dL) for Testosterone?

I would think increasing testosterone would do no help and may actually worsen the cancer. Hormone therapy is used to decrease androgen (containing testosterone).

The things I am seeing indicate the 1941 study linking T to PC was flawed. Pc will thrive on any T, so you have to get it down to 0. Dr Ahlering at UC Ervine wrote a paper on T replacement. His thinking is low T is more of a health risk than having T. Dr Mulhall says the 1941 study was on a very small sampling of candidates.
