Hello Darryl, Yes I had 43 fractions of Radiation. The side effects were minimal with the help of flomax, AZO and a one time use of steroids. The sensation of burning Urination was the worst. Had lesser issues with the bowels. About half way through the treatments you will experience tiredness and fatigue. But lots of rest and not so bad.

I would say the most difficult thing was having to drink 28 ounces of water prior 45 minutes before the treatments and holding it until after the treatments are completed. this became a mental thing for me. But, I got through it.

After it is all over you think back and say "not so bad after all"
