It seems that cutting off the blood supply to the prostate is having promising results with no negative side effects. Anyone try it?

Embolisation may be a good thing. I know my wife had embolisation for a fibroid which meant she avoided major surgery. Where are they doing this as it is something I have not found in my research.

Prostate embolization has been successfully used to treat BPH. I can find no studies or references to using it for prostate cancer. I doubt that it would be a good prostate cancer treatment option because it does not kill the prostate gland, it causes it to shrink (again good for the treatment of BPH). My assumption is that a smaller prostate gland does not destroy the cancer, it would simply concentrate it in a smaller gland.

I cannot imagine how this would work. So you leave this lump of dead meat inside your body and let it rot??!! And now your urethra is surrounded by a bunch of dead rotting meat?
