Treatment schedule with Docetaxil

kick-prostate-cancer profile image

We picked a "lead" Oncologist at Stanford Medical Center who recommended 2 consecutive cycles (once a week for 3 weeks) of Docetaxil. We just visited a local Oncologist for the treatments. He wants to do the Docetaxil infusions only once every 21 days.

We are confused as to whether we should find a local Oncologist to do the original plan, or ????

What was your treatment schedule, and what are your thoughts?

My husband had docetaxel once a week for three weeks. It did nothing to the cancer. He is now on Cabazitaxel once every 21 days.
