I'm Trying to become pregnant, and have been off the pill since January this year.
I have been using a ovulation calculator to help me, but I wanted to know if this is normal I finished my period on the 2nd April, having regular sex and then I started to bleed on the 18th for 2 days and now it's stopped.

Sometimes it can be a drop in progesterone. . Or around when u ovulate maybe? Are u takingthe pregnacare preconception vitamins? There are some good vitamins and minerals in there that help fertility. And they recommend u take folic acid when trying to conceive. And always worth popping to see your g.p can always give ua blood test check ur hormones are all Ok
You may already be pregnant, I had that before I knew and a month later after taking a test found out I was expecting.
It took me a fair few months to conceive after coming off the pill, almost a year and I'm only 20 so don;t be upset if it takes a little while, it's only normal
Was the bleed heavy & red or light in colour?? I would wait 4 weeks from 2nd April to do a test to be honest to give you a clear reading. You are normally at your most fertile 14days after the first day of your last period(I think thats right)
I was on the pill for 7 years then came off it in the Feb and I reckon I had caught by the March with my first baby(He is now 4). Everyone is different though.
First it was light...by the afternoon it was heavy but the next day it was so light and then nothing it wasn't red like normal.
My next period is due at the end of April so I will wait until then.
Thank you
hey, it took me 13 months to get pregnant when coming off the pill as aparantly it can sometimes take 2 years so if it doesn't happen straight away don't worry, I focussed on it so much and spent so much on pregnancy tests tht I think it stressed me out so take it easy, u might b lucky and it might happen straight away but if it doesn't be patient, take each month as it comes
I bled a little in early pregnancy, do a pregnancy test and that will maybe help u with what too do next x
