hi, I am 19 +1 with my first, is this ur first 2? the midwife says that u can feel movement anytime from 16-20 weeks, don't be too disheartened if u haven't already, I didn't really start feeling movement till end of last week and at first I wasn't too sure what I was meant to be feeling as its my first but now I just feel like I have bubbles inside.do u have a midwife apt coming up, as I had one at 17 weeks where she listened to heartbeat. I went through a stage between about 14-16 weeks where I didn't feel pregnant as was feeling gd and was hungry but my bump has started to grow and have my scan nxt week. I wouldn't worry :) x

not feeling pregnant at 16 weeks is quite a common sign. SO that should not really bother you.

But if you think the size of your bump has considerably reduced (considering you actually had a visible bump in 16th week), its good to meet the mid-wife. As the size of the bump may reduce due to water consistency in it (amount). So even meeting a GP would be a good idea just to be sure.

The movements - if this is your first child, and not a twin than quite likely you wont feel any movement for next few weeks even. I felt my first persistent movement on week 20 (and realized in week 24 that most of it was hiccups and not movements, so that distorted the whole pattern that I was used to - but thankfully now even the baby-daddy can feel her moving around, I am 26 weeks now)

I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my third, I have only just got my head round that I'm pregnant! I still wake up and forget until I look in the mirror or open the draw and it pats my belly lol. It's completely normal to feel this way, don't worry baby may have moved position bumps will change shape all the time. If you concerned visit the midwife or GP practitioner you,ll probably start to feel little bubbles around 17 to 19 weeks pregnant after that it will become more noticeable and by the time your 30 weeks like me you,ll feel it flip over and boot you in the lower region if breech like mine or up in the ribs, no mistaking those :-) xx

I didn't feel my first baby move until nearly 21 weeks, didn't want to tell anyone as everyone seemed to be feeling baby earlier, but everything was fine and I did finally feel her move so don't worry at this stage. I'm only 12 weeks now and can't wait until I can feel the little one moving, its such an amazing feeling!!
