Has anyone used skin glue for a C-section?

I had my 1st C-section in India where glue was used to close the incision. Can I ask for the same here in UK?

There's no harm in asking - mine was just stitched but consultants are often quite good at discussing options and they'll let you know if it's available. (midwife referred me to consultant quite soon into pregnancy - about 14 weeks - to dicuss second c section) x

I think mine was glued cos I didn't have stitches, with a big plaster over it for the 1st 24 hrs that was 3 years ago in UK. I was a size 12 when I got pregnant and put on 3 stone! I think it depends on ur size to how they do u up cos my cousins both big girls and they had stitches .

I had glue last year so worth asking to see what they use and discuss the alternatives :-)
