Need some advice!

Came off my pill and Had my last period on 27th Nov always have 28 day cycle. No period through out dec or Jan, took pregnancy test on 31st Dec and 10th Jan both negative! Now on 28th Jan postitive pregnancy test doctor says i am round about 6 - 8 weeks how can this be when i had neg tests on 10th jan. Confused...

Pregnancy tests are very sensitive and might be at times wrong. It would be good to use a digital clear blue as they would be able to show your pregnancy week too (near around).

And I did my pregnancy test by collecting thee urine in a glass - peeing on the strip might not be that helpful

Ur hcg level might not have been high enough to be detected, it increases all the time so it may have just took that long for urs to be detected. I got mine + 5 days b4 due date both times, my auntie was 5 months b4 she got her 1st + , my mum said the baby was moving b4 she got +.

It is possible to get a false - , they will date u off the 1st day of ur last period.

Oh yes thanks, all good, baby was doing a bop! Measuring 12 weeks tomorro. Due date 23rd Aug sickness easing but still getting bouts, was ill yesterday but it's all worth it.
