AND ALSO I WENT TO NHS AND ASK DOCTOR FOR BLOOD TEST TO HCG AND HE TOLD ME IN LONDON WE JUST CHEK BY BABY TEST !!!!!!!!!!!! AND BLOOD TEST IN EMRERGENCY IS IT TRUE? I NEEED TO KNOW ABT LEVEL OF HCG

Hi Yes unfortunately the NHS cannot afford all the tests. They can only confirm pregnancy by HCG Pregnancy test and a scan is offered to monitor growth and development later on in pregnancy. However if you pay privately you can have it done. I miscarried at 7 weeks plus one and the blood test is not offerd to monitor HCG Levels, I kept using pregnancy tests until the test become negative after almost 6 weeks after, in the united states and other countries this is offeerd but not here. I suppose since the NHS is " free " unless it is necessary or emergency then it is done if not then cuts have to be made to keep the organisation going.

If u go to the early pregnancy unit at st helier in carshalton, if u have bleeding or pain they automatically test hcg levels and scan.
