Hcg level

Im almost 6 weeks pregnant and Saturday my hcg level was 978 and now as of Monday i had blood work drawn again and it was over 2000 they say. Is that very good or just right or what?

This is exactly why my clinic do not do any blood tests! Their view is that these results are too stressful, and it is better to just relax until your 8 week scan... I tend to agree.

Can you call your clinic and ask what & why they are testing?

They did a follow up because i went to the hospital over the weekend , i had a small amount a blood when i went to the restrooms and wanted to get checked out .

I had the same, I had quite heavy spotting at 6 and 7 weeks. My clinic stuck to their guns and said to just hang in there until the 8 week scan. It was a tough wait but it was all ok in the end for me, hope the same is the case for you x

Yea, for me it was just when i wiped that one time, but i was still concerned. I feel better now, i have a ultrasound on the 7th of April. Thx.

I've had a little google & all seems fine- your hcg levels should double every 48hours or so around this time (which is what seems to have happened), then starts to slow around 8 weeks xx

At six weeks they are looking for at least a sixty percent rise so that is very good
