Had a ERPC a week ago for a delayed miscarriage...................................

I had a minor operation to evacuate the retained products of conception,however had it 2 weeks after as I was hoping that nature would take its course but did not. Went in at 8 in the morning and was out by the evening as everything went well .I was ovulating 11 days after the miscarriage as i was keeping a close eye with the ovulation tests and decided to keep on trying. 3 weeks after the miscarriage pregnancy test is still positive. I am not sure if this is a new pregnancy or my body still have hormones from the old one. Has anyone been in the same situation before?

Not been in this situation before but when I had a natural miscarriage I was told I could have a positive test up to 4 weeks after becauae of the hormones still in your body.
