All I can think about is when will I have my first 'dating SCAN' ??? Very Apprehensive !!Help!!

hi amber28 the dating scan is held from 11 week to 14 weeks it depends on your area and how busy they are.

The timing of the test is very important if u want the combined test and not every hospital does them. U shud b seeing a midwife soon to start the process. She wil giv u the info u need then u can book your scan appt. good luck c

If your unsure how to find midwife just book to see your gp.tell them your pregnant. I then got a call from the midwife to see her ( 1 was 11 1/2 Wks) then got a letter to go for scan (12 1/2) but every area is different.

Just make sue you have told your gp and they will refer you to a midwife. You'll then get a letter confirming your appointment and scan. Mine is for about 11 weeks. But I could not wait so I went for a private scan at 7 weeks. They are only £99 and it definitely helped to put my mind at rest seeing the heartbeat! I went to ultrasound direct, they have clinics all over the UK
