Missed period by 7 weeks roughly, taken 3 HPT and all negative but 2 with very very faint line.

My periods are late by 7 weeks and have taken 3 tests 1 all negative but two had very faint lines. I feel very different, wake up each morning feeling sick, blocked nose.. My belly ferls so tight and bloated, sore backs.. And I am just not satisfied woth the answerw the HPT gave me, any advice or someone who can relate atall?????

Are you sure you're reading the result correctly? According the the instructions on the one I used, if you got a line at all, no matter how faint, that was a postive (I'm not talking about the reference line, but the other one of course--if it's the reference line that's faint, perhaps there's a problem with the way you're using it). If in doubt, you could always invest in one of those ClearBlue ones that give you words rather than lines.

My first few tests were faint until I used a clearblue digital as they are very accurate. There is no line it simply says either not pregnant or pregnant and it even calculates how many weeks you are based on how much hcg is present. U might also benefit from seeing the doctor as they can use blood tests to check the hcg levels are rising as they should. Your uterus should have grown in size by now too so having an internal exam can give the doctor an indication that the pregnancy is progressing as it should. Hope this helps.

even if you get two lines no matter how faint its positive... The first 10tests i did wer really faint but it jst means ur hcg levels arnt strong enough yet xx

I have taken a clear blue test and it said not pregnant, my body is telling me there is something not right. If I go to doctors will they give me a urine and blood test? My mother took 3 months to show positive in all home test lol. Thanks all alot of help xxx

hmmm yea the doctor will if you tell them you have had a positive test and a negative test.. but the test doctorsuse are no different really.. i got mine in poundland and it showed positive at 4weeks.. but my clear blue digital test have always come out right aswell... :/ xxx

yea that would really confuse me... maybe your doctor will do some blood work.. as apparently you cant get a false positive... :/ xxx

I was told in the line tests that there can be a faint grey line sometimes, which would be a negative, but if it's coloured is definitely positive regardless of how faint. I was worrying about the same thing and definitely pregnant. When I asked the doctor for a test there he told me there's no point as is definitely positive. I didn't take clear blue though, perhaps is too early to show up? I hope you work everything out. Good luck with your gp.

Yeah it was defitnetely coloured as I held it up to the light to make sure as I thought I was seeing things. I will definetely boo an appointment at my doctors, although il wait weeks for one since the NHS suck lol. I hope this aint a false alarm, xxxx
