Trying to Conceive

Hi Guys,

I had my implant removed on the 3rd July and we have been trying for a baby since. If anyone has any tips it would be massively appreciated. I am trying not to think about it but it is hard when all my friends are pregnant or have had a baby. Anyone who is in the same position I would love to hear from you.

Hi, I had the implant taken out last year. It took me over a year to get pregnant. Every1 is diffrent. During my time of trying to concieve then coming on every month was so hard and upseting. It takes a while for the hormone from the implant to leave your system. I know its easier said than done but try to relax. I got pregnant when we were not even trying to be honest I gave up on the idea of ever getting pregnant. But now I am 28 weeks pregnant.

I wish you the best of luck x

Hi Casey,

I had my implant taken out a year ago, and I'm 3 months pregnant now, we gave up trying after a couple of months and thought it would never happen but it has! :) turns out I conceived in Mexico back in June! I believe this is because I was relaxed and not worrying about anything, it will happen :) good luck to you both.

Thanks Im trying not to think about it but it seems to be everywhere I turn!! It doesn't help that my periods are still all over the place one minute they are regular like they used to be then the next they are either a little late or majorly late, so as you can imaging it gets our hopes up!!

Hi Casey

Me & my husband have been trying for 2 years. We'd read loadsa books, used ovulation tests but i ended up being more upset when i came on every month. I recently miscarried at 7 weeks. I had thought i may be pregnant as i was experiencing sickness, heartburn etc but when i came on i thought nothing of it. It's upsetting knowing we lost our baby but i look on the bright side of things knowing that we CAN have a baby. We fell when we least expected it. It will happen for you one day hun. keeping fingers & toe crossed for 2013 babies for us both x
