Hi I had a bleed on thurs went for an early scan yesterday they think I'm 4-5 weeks they could only see a sac no baby so I'm going back

On the 10th when they said they should see a heartbeat ! Had this happened to anyone else ? I'm still nervous as I had a miscarriage previously

I had bleeding at the same stage and was told there was no point in a scan at 5 weeks as they wouldn't be able to see the baby. 8 weeks was the earliest to check the viability of the pregnancy and everything was fine for me, heartbeat and baby all ok :o)

Try not to worry too much, it's totally normal not to see a baby at that stage. good luck for 10th x

im going for a 6week scan tmrw coz ive been bleeding for a week with cramps n bk pains.. not sure if im gna see anything or hear anything.. really scared coz ive had 2 miscarriages and starting to think i cant carry xx

plz dont worry i was told at 15 that i couldnt have kids. I'm not going to lie i have had several miscarriages (9) and spent a week in hospital at 18 i came out of hospital and that night i fell pregnant with my first child and now have one handsom 11 yr old son i had another miscarriage after him but then fell pregnant again this pregnancy wasnt easy right from the off i had pre-natel depression and lots of problems with the pregnancy but in the end all was ok i now have a very energetic 10 yr old daughter! it sounds scary i had a few more losses (4) and have recently been tested for loupus which came back clear! sometimes things arent just meant to be and stressing really doesnt help, It is easier said than done but there is always hope the best thing i was told was when i found out i was pregnant was to carry on as normal the first 12 weeks just do exactly what you did everyday like i went gym instead of thai boxing i just used the machines do the things that keep you calm and relaxed and before you know it you will be at your scan. i hope i havent scared or upset you but just trust me it will happen xx
