I missed miscarried on 24th May, had my period FLP 1st july , been trying since I miscarried. Ovulated approx 8 days ago and today Ive started feeling really sick, slept when I came in from work yesterday. Im worried as Im an older mum and could it be that Im going through the change as its too early to take a test 3 weeks and 2 days.

I don't think this means you are too old - I say wait and see if you miss your period and then take a test. Lots of women I know have had miscarriages when they are TTC and go on to have a healthy pregnancy and baby afterwards! Don't lose hope :)

You haven't said how old you are but I just wanted to share that I am 45 and into my 5th month of pregnancy! All going well so far so please don't give up hope! I did have a MC a couple of years ago and had not been using any contraception since so it has taken a bit of time to concieve (TTC = Trying to Conceive). You could go to your GP and get checked if you are worried that you are going to hit menopause, and they can offer you blood tests to see if you are ovulating. I also invested in Clearblue Fertility Monitor off ebay - that also told me that I was still producing eggs. Good Luck and don't give up - I didn't! XX

I'm a late mum too, with one successful pregnancy, one missed miscarriage, and now am nearly 22 weeks pregnant.

Being and older mum certainly doesn't mean you won't have another successful pregnancy.

If you are concerned about menopause and ovulation, speak to your GP. Better to know whether there's a problem sooner than later. If there's a problem, you can get best advice on how to go forward. If not, you can put your mind at ease. Stress about falling pregnant is probably one of the biggest barriers to falling pregnant!!

All the best.
