hi I’m looking for some advice from people who have been through this.

currently 31 weeks pregnant and due another growth scan at 32 weeks to check growth & fluid levels.

At 24 weeks fundal height measured at 30 weeks.

Referred for a growth scan which showed baby in 99th centile and fluid levels were noted at normal.

Gestational diabetes test the week after came back normal.

At 28+3 days I had a scan doctor said my fluid levels were up in high levels of normal at 8.4?

Due another growth scan at 32 weeks(on Tuesday) feeling nervous of what my labour will look like and if I’m going to end up in preterm labour.

I’m definitely feeling bigger and struggling to do much already at 31 weeks.

NHS list of things that can happen with high fluid levels are scaring me..

hi, I had this with my second, the found it at 27 weeks on a private scan. They continued to check every 2 weeks and I think the deepest I measured was 9.1. I met with the consultant at about 36 weeks and they booked in a C-section which lowered some of the risks but I was only ever told it was a mild case of polyhydramios. I had a section due to other factors too but they also said I could book to be induced at about 39 weeks. I didn’t have gestational diabetes that we knew about and I had my daughter via c section at 39+4 and she was 8lb11. I worked myself up with worry but some scans I would show extra fluid and other scans it was within the normal range so be prepared for it to not be there next time and then reappear. A sonographer told me that sometimes it can be the baby has literally just had a wee or just the position they are in too, which makes it even harder to know what’s (if anything) going on! Sorry I can’t be more help! X
