hi, I had this with my second, the found it at 27 weeks on a private scan. They continued to check every 2 weeks and I think the deepest I measured was 9.1. I met with the consultant at about 36 weeks and they booked in a C-section which lowered some of the risks but I was only ever told it was a mild case of polyhydramios. I had a section due to other factors too but they also said I could book to be induced at about 39 weeks. I didn’t have gestational diabetes that we knew about and I had my daughter via c section at 39+4 and she was 8lb11. I worked myself up with worry but some scans I would show extra fluid and other scans it was within the normal range so be prepared for it to not be there next time and then reappear. A sonographer told me that sometimes it can be the baby has literally just had a wee or just the position they are in too, which makes it even harder to know what’s (if anything) going on! Sorry I can’t be more help! X
