hello I am 5 weeks pregnant but the ultrasound doesn’t show anything and yet am experiencing some mild bleeding and some clots. What could this mean

At 5 weeks you're unlikely to see anything on scans. I was able to see everything at 6w+3.

If you did the scan with your local Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit, they would only repeat scans 2 weeks apart for safety (in your case, 7 weeks). Try asking for hCG blood tests, some of us got it done through NHS, they should do it 2 days apart to see expected increase.

Also try to get progesterone pessaries, they're used to help sustain pregnancy at early stages.

this clot came out and scared me but the I was put on medication to stop the bleeding I will go back for a scan in two weeks
