I got my BFP a week ago and am now 5 weeks pregnant. It’s been a long journey to get here and now I’m terrified of things going wrong.
I’m pretty sure I’ve got covid , feeling really rotten and am so worried this could impact the pregnancy ?
Also, since my BFP my heads been a bit all over the place and I’ve taken my progesterone pessaries later in the day than usual - by 3 hours. Would this impact the pregnancy?
I’ve emailed my clinic and am waiting for their reply! Just looking for some reassurance in here too x

Hey,Not much help but I just wanted to say congratulations 🥳🎊. Unfortunately, being worried is quite natural though the best thing is to stay calm, think positively and get medical advice from midwives and professionals alike.
My timing with pessaries was off quite a bit- I’d always take the morning one but then the afternoon one was hard to do at the same time because of work so it would be taken at all kinds of times. Obviously try to get into a rhythm with it, but if it’s off by a few hours, don’t beat yourself up about it. I think when we do IVF, we’re so used to having to do the injections at a very precise time that it’s anxiety inducing when we’re late with pessaries and other medication.
For me, the 5 to 12 week part of pregnancy was the hardest because of the worry and frustrating expectation that something would go wrong. Take one day and one week at a time. You’ll get through it 💪💪
