We've now been prescribed infant Gaviscon (due to reflux). Not sure if I misunderstood but we've got 30 sachets and I was told to use 2 sachets due to LG weight and I can use it in 6 bottles in 24 hours. The 30 sachets will only do 2 days plus 2 feeds. Do you just use it when baby's are at their most uncomfortable or should I be using it for 6 feeds a day and asking for another prescription?
Didn't realise when I was talking to the doctor we were prescribed such a small amount so I've been unable to ask

we had baby gaviscon prior to moving to omaprazole. You can take one sachet per bottle (so spreading the 6 doses over 12 feeds). My baby would only take small feeds fairly frequently (still does tbf).
We used it in all our feeds as he didn’t go over 12. I think this is the same for breast feeding ( you make up a paste or add it to expresses milk) but we were only bottle feeding by then.
We did miss a few doses in the night feeds as these he didn’t seem as refluxy at night.
Just to prewarn you, it can make them a little constipated but otherwise, we did find it helped for a bit.
Hang in there. I remember the point where my little boy was diagnosed being a lot of everyone crying and being pretty miserable all round!
