hello i am gonna be first time mom I’m 7wks along and my hunger is through the roof. Before this, I used to eat 2main meals and a snack sometimes but now i feel like I hadn’t eaten in days after 3/ 4 hours of a meal. I know so many ladies who couldn’t eat because of nausea while being preggo and here I am! ALWAYS HUNGRY! Anyone else who can relate with me on this???
Also I am waiting to hear back from my hospital for my first appointment. I’m new in UK and still have to learn a lot about healthcare system here. Why is waiting time so long? Gosh why do I have to wait so long to catch a glimpse of this little person living in my belly always asking for food!? 🫠

I had a similar situation to you; first time mum, no nausea and an increased appetite, felt very tired though!
I had a midwife booking appointment (where they do the in-depth health check) at 9/10 weeks. It does feel like ages until the 12 week scan! Finally got mine this morning 😁
It has felt so strange having an assortment of symptoms with no clear visual confirmation of pregnancy. The scan will help make it feel more real though.
Hello! First pregnancy too here, I’m 16 weeks right now. I had the extreme hunger (and mild morning sickness) in first trimester but it seems to have levelled out now.
I also found the waiting time for the scan hard to bear and to calm my anxiety I booked a private reassurance scan at window to the womb at 8 weeks and was able to see my tiny embryo and a heartbeat. I think I paid £70, it was definitely worth it for the peace of mind.
I completely lost my appetite with my first pregnancy - my son is now 7.5 months and I’m 14 weeks pregnant with my second (thank you Lord) I am always hungry, ALL THE TIME (I’m also breastfeeding round the clock). I wake up at 5am for my first breakfast and then go back to bed until breakfast number 2 🤣 I’m also incredibly nauseous and vomiting so it’s all fun and games in this house. Congratulations and enjoy every moment because it’ll go by so fast ❤️
