hi, I’m a bit worried about how high my carbon monoxide reading was at my dating scan, especially as a non-smoker living with a non-smoker. I got 7 and last time it was 1! The boiler is fine, the car is fine, no wood burners, oil burners etc.
The consultant (I have PCOS) asked if I have lactose intolerance, and I have had a LOT of dairy recently and been windy, bloated, headaches, brain fog and exhausted though I assumed this was normal for pregnancy. Years ago I was tested for lactose allergy and was told I’m not allergic but avoided dairy for years and gradually built back up to eating it again.
Does anyone know if an intolerance could be causing the high carbon monoxide reading and how will I know if it’s reduced by cutting dairy out again and waiting for my 16week appointment?
I guess I’m just worried about what effect the hight reading is having on my baby. TIA x
