I had this with our first bfp that ended in chemical, but I also had this with my two healthy boys. With my first we had private scans when I felt anxious, with our second the aniexty was much better and I believed symptoms could chnage day to day ❤️❤️ everything is subjective to you lovely

i am already at week 9. Had a scan week 8 all was good. Just seems very strange just to go like that

maybe book a private one if your worried to check everything is still OK. I dreaded getting to the 12 week scan and seeing no heartbeat

I’m very similar to Holly in that I’ve experienced both sides of the coin. My pregnancy earlier in the year at 9 weeks I woke up with no symptoms, fast forward a week and a bit i found out I’d had a missed miscarriage where the baby stopped growing at 9 weeks. This current pregnancy I had disappearing symptoms right throughout (eventually they would come back) and baby is fine. Because of disappearing symptoms I found myself having a lot of private scans. So it could mean something or nothing 💜 but more often it’s nothing sinister (from all my dr Googling!) x

around 9 weeks is when the placenta is known to take over so symptoms can reduce at that time but definitely worth getting a scan to reassure yourself xx

dI'd you get checked out or wait for your next appointment ? My next one is in 2 weeks as my doc on holiday.

I waited until my 12 week appointment and didn't go for a private scan. I panicked the whole 9 months of my pregnancy so the lack of symptoms at week 9 was the first of my many worries 🤦‍♀️.

My midwife said as long as there is no bleeding or pain then it is usually fine. But nevertheless others on here have said and experienced, that it could also mean miscarriage. So it's definitely best to go with your gut and do whatever puts your mind at ease

this has happened to me in two of my pregnancies and I went for private scans, all was fine. It’s weird being pregnant but not feeling pregnant but sometimes it just happens that way! A private scan will cost you around £70 if you can afford it. I doubt the nhs will scan you for this but you could try explaining how worried you are, mine only did extra scans for bleeding etc x

yes it was around 9 weeks and although I had days where symptoms came back very slightly they were not like they were before. I’ve heard of people saying theirs come and go so yours might come back

I didn't actually have any pregnancy symptoms with either of my pregnancies, just a missed period. I wouldn't have known I was pregnant at all. Sometimes a lack of symptoms is totally normal
