You need to book in with your community midwifery team. Most of the time this is through your GP and then they’ll do you a booking in appointment around 7-8 weeks and they arrange everything like your scans and carry out all your antenatal checks

if you’re in the UK then you should call your GP, they normally confirm your pregnancy and then they’ll refer you to your local midwife team.

You should get your first appointment with your midwife at around 8/10 weeks, this is just to go through your health background etc. Your first scan is normally at 12 weeks.

You can follow the same process as with your last child.

Let your GP practice know you're pregnant and they'll refer you to the midwife or direct you to your midwife to self refer.

You'll follow the same schedule you did with in terms of scans etc. They might put you on a high care pathway as you had a c-section 6 months ago, so you might need closer monitoring.

You had a baby 6 months ago, remember! You know, with the c-section and baby at the end! 😂😂😂. I'm joking but I'm sure you'll be fine the 2nd time around too. No need to worry
