we are pregnant with fraternal twins, and today the midwife suggested we look into the antenatal courses offered by the Twins Trust. Has anyone followed them and has any feedback?
I did this course online very recently and would recommend it as information is tailored to twins and provides goods information but it doesn’t overwhelm you. Am also doing a local NCT course to meet local parents.
Congratulations to you as well!!! Thanks a lot for your feedback. Did you also do the free NHS antenatal course? How does it compare with the Twins Trust one?
NCT is a private course but I wanted to do one in my town to meet local Mum’s so chose this. I don’t think mu Trust has restarted their courses yet. I am part way through the NCT course which is being run over two days and one evening so quite intense but you get time to talk to the other parents . It has helped having the background of the Twins Trust course and for me I am hoping the more I hear information the more I will remember it as am too lazy at present to read any books!
Great, thank you! We also looked at the NCT, but it is a bit too expensive for us. We will also move soon, so meeting people will not really be helpful in the long run. Twins Trust is much cheaper and looks also better tailored to a twin pregnancy.
