Nasal congestion galore!

Currently dealing with pregnancy rhinitis so end up waking up for hours everynight. Stuffed nose, achey ears and sore throat seem to be the main symptoms. Anyone got any remedies that helped deal with it? Already ordered a humidifier that is on its way now!

I started using an intranasal saline spray. Seems to help overnight stuffiness a bit:

Ohhh I have this and it’s so annoying!!! I now sleep with the window open to help with air flow, and a raised pillow. But unfortunately, nothing really has helped me shift it. I now also have a huge cold to sit alongside it… fun!!!! Xx

Same! Haha and its very hard to explain to people that its a “fake” cold, as internally i feel fine. Most of the stuff i have seen online says it can last 6 weeks or more :(

I hate to say it, but I’ve had it for more than 6 weeks now!! My friend also had it and it didn’t go away until she gave birth! I’m hoping it eases though as it is frustrating! Xx

Call your GP. There are steroid nasal sprays they can prescribe you that are very safe in pregnancy as they don't enter bloodstream. You can try saline nasal spray first though, that may help.
