2year old moved into a bed 8 weeks ago , he wakes continually through the night and is properly up at 4am . Any advice please , desperate and exhausted parents with another on the way šŸ™

That sounds stressful! Mmm donā€™t know if any of these will helpā€¦ Can you take a mattress in and sleep in with him while he gets used to it. What about some really firm bolsters , you can get foam ones that sit under the fitted sheet a few inches high to prevent them rolling off the bedā€¦ or some mesh baby guards for anti rolling ? Or can you keep the old cot panel sides in the room but securely fix one to the wall so they are familiar feeling to him in the night ? Ugh good luck! Sounds tough

We introduced a gro-clock for my daughter for similar reasons. Took her 3/4 nights to get used to it but we were persistent with just taking her straight back to bed and gently reminding her to stay there until the sun came up. A year on and we still use it.

It depends what's waking them though I guess - with my little girl, she was just getting out of bed because she could rather than anything in particular waking her up.
