Hello guys I m new here..I missed my period this month so 2 days ago I did a test the test came positive but the second line was faint what does it mean?

It could be a faulty test, take another test and see what your result is from that.

Could be a very early positive - your best bet do an early morning urine test. I tested 2 days after my missed period and it came up a strong positive on clear blue as it is a cross rather than 2 lines - but the cheaper ones I had a strong line and a faint line it all depends on what tests your using .. I used a clear blue and a cheap 2 for £4.99 tests from boots once there all positive I got an expensive digital one for £15 and it told me positive or negative and how many weeks.. if you want a definatly get a digital which says either positive or negative x

It may be that your newly pregnant, meaning your egg has just plotted it self.

Hey, this happened to me, the line was so faint that my husband couldn’t even see but I could. After a lot more testing it was true I was positive. I am now 22 weeks, take a few more tests and you should get your answer

Hi Alivembaqa, I do also think that you need to wait 2 weeks after your missed period to see if you are 4 weeks pregnant, with a high Hcg level. I would also recommend that you have a blood test to confirm your pregnancy.

Dates are calculated from your period not ovulation so if you have a 4 week cycle, you are 4 weeks pregnant when you miss your period even though you only conceived 2 weeks previously
