I always hear that people manage to express breastmilk even after feeding baby.

Y can't I do that. Does it mean I got less supply??

Not everyone can express and it's no indication of your supply. If baby is putting on weight and having plenty of dirty nappies your supply is plenty for them. Sometimes it can also depend on finding the right pump and flange size as they all vary in shapes and sizes so finding one that suits you can make pumping a bit more successful. I found with mine it was the wrong shape for me and would give me a blister almost on my boob. I hated expressing unless I was feeling really engorged if baby missed a feed I tried to avoid it.

You could try using a Hakka on the opposite boob to the one you're feeding from and see if you can catch any let down or leaks from that instead of expressing. That's what I'm going to try this time round.

I always struggled to express. I agree with seb I used a Hakka and i did manage to express from that. I didn’t use my electric pump in the end just used this. Pumping is definitely not an indication of your supply ♥️ xx

I agree with what people have already said. Also some babies are just better at getting the milk out. I have never been able to express on the same breast after they have finished. If you are getting dirty and wet nappies and babies getting bigger dont doubt your supply.
