If you're period is due then I would say it was your period especially if you've had bleeding for two days and it is fresh looking blood.

It’s so hard to tell the difference, most people say implantation bleeding doesn’t last long and is different timing to your period but mine lasted about 4/5 days on and off, it was more pink than red with some brown blood (old blood) and it came exactly when my period was due (turns out I ovulated about a week later than I thought which is why) it was confusing as I know most people including myself tend to get that sort of bleeding just before their period really kicks in, but for me it was implantation bleeding and I’m now nearly 24 weeks pregnant. I would say give it a few more days if it changes to more of a stronger red colour then chances are it’s your period if not then try and wait a few more days and take a pregnancy test. I personally had a feeling as something just felt different this time, so I think always go with your gut feeling too. Good luck 😊 x

With my last pregnancy I had implantation bleeding and it looked like a period so I was so confused and though I was fine as I was drinking for a few days aswell but it went after about 3 days and the longer I went without a normal period I though we'll I better buy a test did one and I was pregnant 5+ weeks and now she's 12weeks old x
