My little boy is nearly 23 weeks old and according to information online, he should be able to roll over and sit unaided and even start to crawl within the next few weeks but he isn’t... I feel like I’m doing something wrong or not doing enough!
Does anyone else have late starters? He has been poorly the first couple of months of his life so maybe that’s delayed him a little?

23 weeks is closer to 5 months than 6. Some.children start rolling, much easier to roll from tummy to back. As for sitting the average age is closer to 6 months than 5 (that's average, so some children will be later) crawling average is closer to 9 months (although some kids do start crawling at 5-6 months). My first never did much rolling, crawled at 9 months walked late at 16months. She's 5 now and there are no issues with her (apart from the fact she's a smart mouth sometimes 🤭)
I'd just make sure you do loads of tummy time with your lo as that really is what improves baby muscles, and try practice sitting them up, with legs in a v.
My little girl didn't sit up until nearer 7 months, I'd ignore all the Internet stupid about what they can and can't do. I found all they did was put added pressure on me and baby to hit targets we Wentworth going to achieve. At our 1 year check with the health visitor they were pleased with how she was getting on and we've been much happier taking everything at our own pace. Children all develop so differently. My friends little boy was walking at 9 months and my little one didn't walk till after her first birthday. I would just go along at his pace. I think lots of baby sensory groups and swimming and other things like that are starting up again now, I found these were great for chatting to other mums and seeing what they were all doing and how differently they all developed xx
He did not sit up unaided until 8 months, crawled at 11 months walked at 15 months. All within normal brackets. However he talks like nobodies business.
All children are different, it's hard not to compare but unless there are lots of things all delayed don't be too worried.
My kids were quick 3mth rolling 6 mth crawling 9mth walking but every kids different some take longer it doesnt matter my cousin kid is 2 still not walking theyre not concerned yet.
Lol MissEd although my kids were quick at physical yet their speech took longer by 2 they were saying basic words but not full on conversations where as my sister 1st was about 1 never shut up.
I wouldn't worry too much about what you read online, it is only a guide and each baby develops at different stages when they are strong enough and comfortable enough to do so. My baby is almost 24 weeks old, is trying to sit up but flops over, is trying to roll over but rolls on side now and then and only twice over but never again & no where near crawling. Once their developmentally and physically strong then they will, part of it is to do with mutation, time , sleep... so let them do it in their own time they will get there!😀
