My baby girl is 8 weeks and she's starting to get a flat head at the back, any suggestions on what to do before it gets too bad?

Lots of tummy time. When she is on her back at playtime try encouraging her to move her head to one side with toys to avoid too much pressure on the back. Alternate sides. Once she is stronger and able to lift her head, she can spend more time on her tummy and, of course, it will be better once she starts sitting up. My LG went a bit flat on the left side as she always slept with her head to the left. I mentioned it at a check up with her HV who wasn't concerned. She is now almost two and her head is perfect. If it gets really bad speak to you HV.

As what winter girl had said, plus I'd also add carry her in a sling rather than in the pram, this counts as tummy time and gives times away from having head flat on a surface.

Less time on her back is really the only answer. My little one hated traditional tummy time so we spent a lot of time with her in a sling and holding her and things.

All the above and also make sure you switch sides when giving milk

There's also a pillow you can get that you can use for nappy changes and the occasional nap it's got a hole in the middle and is usually heart shaped
