I have my 25 week midwife appointment coming up and before I call up and ask on Monday when it opens again I was wondering if anyone knows if I can bring my partner with me or do I have to go alone x

Where I am you still have to go alone, dad can only come to scans xx

I never took my husband to any midwife appointments as they were so quick and he works an hour away so wasn’t any point for him. This was before covid though so they may not let you anyway x

Yep ... Third pregnancy never took husband to any midwife appointment apart from scans (and not all of those either) as better save the time off work for when the baby is here.

It will be a different answer depending where you live as each trust is different. If you want to have your partner with you it’s best to give them a call and check. Hope it all goes well xx

I had my first midwife appointment 2 weeks ago and my partner was allowed in with me. I had my scan letter through and they have crossed out the part where it said mother’s only. Hopefully yours will be the same :)

As far as I know partners can go to 12 and 20 week scans but nothing else x

I'm probably too late to reply but where I am partners aren't allowed into anything. My OH hasn't been into anything at all including scans and I'm 29+1. With the scans it's a bit sad but the other appointments are very quick!
