Medela Electric breast pump x
I have a bellababy pump from Amazon it’s £42.99 and I’ve been using it anywhere between 4 and 8 times a day since March and it’s been fantastic as good as the hospital grade one I used on the neonatal unit.
I’ve got a medela harmony manual and a medela swing electric. The manual is great to start off with, as there is a technique to it, but if you are pumping a lot then a manual one makes your hands ache! The parts from the harmony fit the medela swing. If I was to buy again i’d look for a pump with a silicone soft breast cup (as the hard plastic ones are not very comfortable) and a pipe leading to the bottle as if you want to pump and feed at the same time it’s almost impossible with the medela as the bottle and baby need to be in the same place!
If you don't want to spend on an electric one to start with I can definitely recommend a silicon pump like naturebond or haaka. They are super affordable and can be used from the start to catch the letdown from the opposite breast while your feeding. Once feeding is established you can then use the suction on the opposite side your feeding on for expressing x
