Breast tenderness immediately after conception. Is it possible?

On 31st December I was ovulating ( after seeing my vaginal discharge like egg white, transparent )and had sex with my partner on that day. My fertile window was from 29dec to 2nd jan and it was my 1st sex of this window. The next day that was 1st January morning I was experiencing breast tenderness and feeling soreness till now when I press around my nipple area. Is this a pregnancy symptom? I'm sure that it is not my PMS because my expected period will be of mid January and i always have late period..I read pregnancy symptoms over internet and breast tenderness is one of them. But I'm wandering is it normal too early? Has anyone experiencing the same? I'm curious to know..

I mostly get really sore boobs (mainly nipples) for a day or two after ovulation, nothing to do with conception for me. Not every cycle but prob more than half. So it could just be a particularly hormonal month for you. It does seem exceptionally early for pregnancy xx

Hi Afreen. As purple doggy posted I get this straight after I ovulate and its hormones due to ovulation they stay tender until AF comes and hormones drop. With it being a day or two that is very early to be a pregnancy sympton as implantation most probably hasn't happened yet. But seems like you have ovulated and had sex at the right time so fingers crossed for you that it has worked and you get the result you want x

I think it's a bit early to have any symptoms, the symptoms of pregnancy start when you've got lots of hormonal changes so at conception your body hasn't really started making the hormones yet.I found though when I was trying for a baby I was much more aware of my cycle and and much more aware of any potential symptoms.

I don't think I ever paid as much attention to my body as I did then, and funnily enough when I did fall pregnant I didn't have any symptoms except a missed period. The first time I got pregnant we had been trying for so long I'd actually giving up tracking for a bit and the first I knew to take a test was when I realised I was 3 days late. Good luck

Hi dear, I experienced breast tenderness quite late in my pregnancy, around the 8th-9th week and the cholostrum (milk) is produced between the 16th and 22th week of pregnancy. I think you need to speak to your GP and have your bloods taken to check your Hcg levels. x

Her period isn't even due yet! She only had sex a few days ago! Her GP is unlikely to be running blood tests on her for pregnancy when she's not even missed a period yet.
