My dating scan?

I'll be 15+1 for my dating scan. Is this normal or should I call up and see if they can get me in sooner?

I’m sure it’s supposed to be done before 14 weeks so I would call the hospital and see if they can move your appointment x

If you are wanting the checks to be done in the first trimester, you need to be seen before 13 weeks & 6 days x

Due to the virus, a lot of people are being seen late as there just aren’t enough staff. My friend isn’t being seen until mid 16 weeks. Could be worth calling if you are anxious but be prepared that they may not be able to do anything. If you have concerns you could always go to a private scan yourself. I had one with Window to the Womb
