Bleeding at 10 weeks

So I’m 10 weeks Friday last night I had some brown discharge contacted 111 and they advised it all sounds normal it stoped after around 1 hour then this morning I went to toilet and when I wiped there was a patch of blood on the tissue I contacted midwife and they wasn’t concerned and said if I have any more that’s large I need to contact them again since and haven’t had nothing else does this sound normal I’m so scared because it’s my first one xxxxxxx

Hi, sorry you're worried. Bleeding in early pregnancy is very common and the fact that its brown shows that it's old and isnt anything to worry about. If it becomes heavy then contact your midwife or early pregnancy unit and they might offer you a scan. Take it easy for a few days xx

I'm just into my 9th week and have had intermittent 'spotting' for 3 days in a row now, weirdly at the same time of day, usually late afternoon/evening. This is the time of month when my period would be due too, so I rang my midwife and she reassured me that many women experience bleeding around this time of development, and as long as it wasn't constant/heavy/there was no pain then it was likely fine! I've just been keeping an eye on it and everything seems ok so far. It can feel very worrying though! Xx just ring again if you are worried xx

Thank you yeah she called me again today to check it’s strange as it only really happens when I have a number 2 I have just got my date for my scan but think I’m going to book a private one for Sunday for reassurance I’m feeling more positive today xxx

My midwife asked me if I'd been for a number two then experienced spotting! I wonder if it's to do with pushing the poop out perhaps....
