Morning sickness advice

Found out I was pregnant last week at 5 weeks n 5 days, until I hit the 6 week mark I had no morning sickness, just passing gas all the time which wasn't like me. The last few days have been tough, I haven't vomited but I'm queasy as soon as I open my eyes until evening and findind it hard to eat. I've heard ginger helps, but I'm not a fan😕 has anyone got any tips to share?

Hello,

When I struggled with sickness, I found eating food little & often is a good trick. Also, if you go off dairy, try the 'frube' tubes that kiddies have - full of the calcium which is good for you both.

All the best x

I used to keep a packet of ginger biscuits with me at all times, including by the bed, as soon as I woke up I would eat a couple wait a few minutes then get out of bed. I also don't like ginger but snacking on a ginger biscuit really did help me whenever a nausea attack happened.

Hi🙂

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I started feeling sick around 6 weeks too.

What I found helpful is plain crackers. I used to munch on couple before I even got out of bed. But the best thing I discovered was the travel / anti sickness bands that I wore on both wrists. They have just a little plastic ball on the inside that presses down on the inside on the wrist. It made a massive difference to me. Have a look online as many places sell them. I even went on the boat on holiday wearing them so it’s worth a try.

Good luck and hold on it will pass. xx
