- Midwife appt yesterday revealed a bump growing (very) fast. 2x growth since last measurement. 34 weeks today. Sending for a scan on Monday, and notes suggest possible polyhydramnios..
I shouldnt have googled this, but I did, and its a scary road to go down.
Any advice?
Thank you!

Try not to worry just yet. I had off the chart fundal measurements too and was referred for an urgent scan - like you, I worried about what this might mean but my amniotic fluid levels and all baby’s measurements were all fine and normal. Try and relax and good lunch for Monday x
Thank you so much. I booked a private scan for Friday as well as a second opinion, because otherwise I suspect i will get no sleep or rest until monday. You are probably right, but when one starts googling (my midwife told me never to do this), it takes you to dark places!
This happened to me last week my fluid level was slightly raised but the dr said everything was fine but on my notes they have put polyhyramnios my baby is meeting the right measurement but as i have gestational diabetes i have to keep going for scans my next one is at the end of the month but i have my midwife appointment tuesday so it will be interesting to see what measurements are this time, it was my midwife that freaked me out the drs said i was fine so its all a bit confusing
I also have been told my bump is measuring big at 26 weeks. Going for a gestational diabetes test today and scan next week. Googling it doesn’t help but it’s kind of impossible not to! I wish I had the scan before the test, fasting all morning is not going to be fun. :/ Good luck!
