Hi there

I had the same issue - I actually had twice as much as I should have so really felt like a beached whale! Just to reassure you it caused no problems at. My son came out at term (well they actually induced him a week early but that was for other reasons) and there were no issues for either of us at all. They did however keep a closer eye on me towards the end which is not a bad thing on any level and that helped reassure me.

Hi

I had moderate polyhydrominous- 33cm. I also had biweekly non stress tests and bpp scans from 32 weeks onwards. By the time I delivered spontaneously at 40+3 weeks. The fluid was perfectly normal 11cm, and my baby was absolutely fine. My midwife told me that they often never find the reason for the excess fluid. I'm sure it'll be the same for you. Good luck I'll be thinking of you and your sweet baby.
