6-8weeks check up

Hey moms. So my LG just turned 2 months yesterday, I was going through her (red book) the one from her hospital and it said the baby has a check up around 6-8 weeks and I have to do a check up as well , I haven’t gotten an appointment with my gp I tried booking an appointment and they keep saying they would get back to me but haven’t heard anything yet.... is this normally the procedure?

I would ring them again. Mine was originally booked for when we were 10 weeks but when the letter came through for his injections it said they have to have there 6 week check before having there injections done so my doctors had to bring our appointment forward. You should have a visit from your health visitor between 6-8 weeks too. Hope you get it sorted x

No i didnt have this problem although we were 8 weeks. Just keep trying and stress its for a post natel check
