Hi everyone I’m so new to this, this is our first month ttc. I have been using the cb opk and today got my static smiley. We have been dtd almost daily for the last 6 days.
Today is our anniversary and I’m ovulating... hubby has organised us to go to a SteAkhouse and we had planned that to be my last steak until we have a baby.
My question is.... since today is the day I am ovulating and hopefully fertilisation is happening, is it irresponsible to go and eat a steak tonight? Xxx

You can eat steak throughout pregnancy as long as it's cooked medium, so having a steak before you've become pregnant would be fine. If you are ttc though it's best to lay off the wine. Here's a link to the NHS guidelines on foods to avoid nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy... but I really wouldn't worry about the food you're eating until you're actually pregnant and have a positive test, it could take months of trying and you'll be missing out on foods you enjoy for no reason.
