I had my c section 4 weeks and 3 days ago. My lochia bleeding has gone well... and completely stoped a week ago.
But I went through very difficult emotional moments and since Sunday I’m bleeding again but very dark red. Not very abondant and Only liquidy. A bit less yesterday.
So I called HV this morning and explained. She said if not abondant and no clots then no worries.. maybe due to more activity on Sunday? So just keep an eye and call GP is getting abondant.
But I feel like it’s getting more during today again...anyone has experienced that?

I bled like that on and off with all 3’c sections and that happened from day 11 until about 8 weeks. It fluctuated in colour, severity, and all was normal. If you’ve overdone you will definitely bleed more, but I had random bleeds even when I hadn’t. It’s frustrating but as long as it’s not foul smelling and your not cramping or filling pads really quickly I wouldn’t worry. 😊
So after my post bleeding started to get worst with a bit of discharge (needed to change pads almost every hour) so went to GP who took sample and did the check she needed and I ended up at the hospital where they did the same plus blood test. So painful and annoying ... and they found nothing wrong!
Weird !!! Over back home bleed was getting less and less and disappeared since 2 days now. Strange as looks like periods 🤨 . But the thing is that I am exclusively breastfeeding so ... very strange
Oh ok it’s because for my 2 previous children I did exclusively breastfeeding too during 9month for the first one and 2 years for the second and never had periods nor problems at all... seems that with this little treasure is a bit complicated but will get over somehow...
