Hi all I'm now 28 weeks pregnant and after having the most painful piles/hemmorids the size of malteasers for three weeks I've managed to clear them up... Thank goodness here's how I did it

-Use anosol supositaries twice daily

-apply ice packs every hour I made mine using witch hazel and cotton wool and freezing them

-lay on your side as much as possible to avoid baby putting pressure down below

- I ended up in A and E as the pain was so bad and they said surgery was not a option because of the pregnancy but they gave me the most effective catheter gel that numbed it called Cathejell Lidocain C. Which I could apply oftern though out the day.

-eat lots and lots of fibre wheatabix, dates, prunes and fruit and veg so poos are loose.

-try to squat when going to the loo for a number 2 I used a small stool to raise my knees a little.

It has took me about 3 weeks to get rid of them and about a week ago they started to bleed but are healing now and are just about gone, just a very small pile with a bit of skin.

Hope this helps anyone suffering with thesein pregnancy as it is just awful.
