I know everyone is different but when do you start monitoring and tracking when baby moves?

Baby movement
I'm not gonna lie I haven't done any kick counts and I'm 32wks gone. I've got use to when she'll move as she normally does it around the same time or if she's being squished. But they say from 26-28wks I think. There are movement tracker apps you can download. But as long as they move 10 times in an hour everything is fine. X
Ok thankyou I’m only 20 weeks so maybe y I don’t feel movement all the time
I was told to start tracking movements properly from 24 weeks however I ended up with reduced movements at 26 weeks and they said the pattern can change between 26-28 weeks. I think as they get bigger it’s just a case of learning what’s normal for you x
The advice is to start keeping a track after 28 weeks, as until then the baby may not have established a regular pattern of movement.
To be honest with my first I didn't really track them but just had an idea of what times of day he was active (about 9pm when I went to bed and throughout the night... typical). I think it's also quite common for baby's to move after meals.
I started tracking at 24 weeks, I’m now 27 weeks and have already been in twice for reduced movements (once at 24, and the other the day before yesterday) both times it turned out to be nothing and baby was just a bit sleepy as I’d been under the weather. My hospital don’t monitor you seriously till you’re 26 weeks, they just Doppler you before then, but I found it quite reassuring to count kicks (when he’s in the right mood) it’s a little bit of downtime for me to sit and focus on my baby x
I didnt track at all really purely because my LO didnt have a regular pattern. I just ensured i spent some time of an evening really paying attention to movements or giving him a little poke to encourage some! X
