I’m 36 weeks 2 days and today I’ve had period like pains and pressure near my bum sorry if tmi, then get a wave of pain that almost takes my breath. Anyone know what this could be? Baby is moving fine and no bleeding just a slight increase of discharge.

My labour started with period type pains that came in waves.....keep an eye on them and if they get stronger you may want to call your birthing centre for advice x

Probably Braxton hicks, drink plenty of water, have a warm-hot bath, baths help with labour pains too.
